My name is Grant StClair-Armstrong and I am a retired RAF Veteran and business owner from the UK.  That's me on the left.

I retired in 2005 and moved to Side, in Turkey, where I lived until 2019.  I had a beautiful life there that was only occasionally spoiled by coming across thieves, liars and scammers.  I also had a great social life although the ex-pat community were by and large an elderly bunch.
 
I lived in a lovely apartment overlooking the sea and spent most of my days just walking and socialising.  I also ran quiz nights and occasionally sang for my supper in a rather posh hotel/Bar/Restaurant called Conny's  That was where I met the Van Lieshouts for the first time and the rest, as they say, is history, so read on.
