Meet Max. Max works for ChargePoint, an American company with appalling Trust Pilot reviews. With people like this working for them, it's not really surprising.
Max listed a car on Ebay that violated two of their policies.
This is how he described it.
***66 plate included - 2016 version*** 🚗 Vauxhall Insignia 1.4 Turbo SRI – Great Condition – Ready to Go! 🚗 ✅ 1 Year MOT ✅ Recently Serviced ✅ New Clutch & Gearbox ✅ Fuse Box & Full Wiring Loom Replaced This car has had lots of recent work done, . Drives well and is ready to go 💷 Priced to sell
What a pack of lies.
The MOT was invalid, as the car was unroadworthy, with bald tyres. Details have been passed to the police, they won't tell me if they contact Max or give me the outcome.
The car HAD not been recently serviced. The service light will not reset until a service is actually done, rather like Aldi.
A Vauxhall main dealer (the Brilliant Baylis V auxhall in Evesham) performed an exhaustive inspection of the car and discovered that the gearbox had not been replaced and was in a very bad condition. They also doubted the clutch had been replaced but wouldn't commit to a NO.
You're probably think I was the idiot but I only test drove it around the housing estate in Bristol and the car was cold. It also turned out there was little oil in the gearbox and the brake fluid was black.
Naturally, I contacted the little prick and he stuck to his lies that it was a new gearbox. He promised to send me all the paperwork, which naturally never showed up and instead said the garage who did the work had closed down.
Thne guy is so deranged and deluded, it's amazing how a German gets a job in the UK. I have all the paperwork from Vauxhall, FI Service Centre and Ebay. I've now started the legal action against this little prick and if anybody can track him down for me, there will be a £100 reward.
| | The Baylis bill for the diagnosis of the cars major problems. Even when this was all shoved under his nose on whatsapp, he still swore it was a truthful advert. What a deranged moron.
| | This is the bill for the two tyres to make the car roadworthy. I am hoping the police prosecute on the basis of the Baylis report on the dangerous condition of the car, bearing in mind he provided me with an MOT certificate
| | The receipt from F1 Srvice Centre showing the fact that the gearbox was nearly devoid of oil and the brakes hadnt been checked for months or possibly years. The brake fluid was black, when it should have been golden. |
